Bear with me, I'll explain in a moment. I have to mention the art first. Holy crap this came out awesome. *amazed* I took a tiny (LAME) doodle, blew it uo on the comp, cheap-o lightboxed the sucker in pencil, then attacked it in PS with a multiply layer (OH B YOU ARE SO LAZY AND AWFUL), and cel-shaded (DID YOU NOT LEARN YOUR LESSON LAST YEAR, B?!) it, and then... GAVE IT A BACKGROUND? WHAT?
Basically, this picture is made of madness, but it came out great. (Yeah, okay, maybe the BG colors should have been blue for wintery climate, but I DON'T CARE THE FOREST IDEA CAME OUT NICE.)

Okay, EXPLAINING NOW. They were stuck in neverending winter for 100 years, right? How the crap did any animals survive that?! Seriously, no squirrel can store that many nuts. That's why there's a bunch of dead animals in a pile over there. With their ribs poking out.

I mean, maybe they shipped in food from Archenland or something, but do you REALLY think the Witch wouldn't slam a blockade on that operation in no time? Come on, C.S., I need me some explanations for this stuff. Or I'll draw things like THIS.
