Hey guys! This is my stagnating, oft-neglected dA account, as a hold-all for colored pictures. My livejournal is updated far more often, as being an animation student means you don't have much time for singular art pieces. Either way, you can enjoy intermittent fanart dumps, link in the banner down a little ways.

I do take commissions, and am in a generally open status if you don't mind long delays. Details are at my website.

bff's, dudes

D: how do you write the script for a play button in flash 9 cs3?

I thought it was:

on (release) { play(2); }

But it's not working and it's driving me nuts : (

If you selected Actionscript Ver3 YOU ARE BONED cause i totally don't know.

i mean, googling it probably works but augh 3 is terrifying, and I just use the same preloader I made in actionscript 2 over and over

but man, I would just copy/paste all your frames into a file set to actionscript 2, way easier

You should probably have broken that shit up! Mine is murdering me to export, and it's in 4 easily digestible less than 10 meg parts.

ugh, fine, lmgtfy. >:|
why do people do fucking coding tutorials as videos? that is the worst idea ever.
Okay, apparently this works: [link] idek, I am not testing it, AS3 can go and die.

Instead, I will pop you this: [link]
Not only does it have delicious copyable loader codes, it explains how they work!

ok I suck at action script and am choosing to finish my work first, shiney menu and buttons will have to wait D: thanks a lot though the tutorial is pretty cool
